The JNC Foundation was founded in 2020 in loving memory of JeNaiya Nailor Clark, who lost her life too soon to breast cancer at the age of 36. JeNaiya was filled with genuine love, kindness, and care. She loved her family and community. JeNaiya was a graduate of St. James High School of St. James, LA and Louisiana State University of Baton Rouge, LA. JeNaiya discovered her stage 4 breast cancer two weeks before her passing; although, she had various visits with different providers. This happens too often to women of color, especially black women, due to racial and systemic barriers in the healthcare field. We want to share her story and stories of others in the fight of two challenges: breast cancer and racism in healthcare.
